We warmly recommend all users wanting to get the most of their Intertex IX66 to also visit the IX66 Central.

The Intertex Internet Gate ADSL modem and firewall is also available
under other brand names, such as Internex SurfinBird, PowerBit SafeGate and Ingate S900. All information on this

information you need to install and set up the Internet Gate is provided as

Upgrades
The firmware in the Internet Gate can be upgraded to new versions as Intertex
releases them.
New firmware
often include bug fixes and new features. Some Internet Gate models require special versions of the firmware:
- For IX66 Firewall (PF) models use the 66F311...-file.

- For all other IX66 models use the 66X311...-file.

If you are not sure which firmware that fits your specific Internet Gate model we recommend that you go to the login page of the Internet Gate web user interface and click "Check for newer" - that link
automatically selects the suitable firmware for your model.

To make sure you
correctly upgrade the USB drivers, we recommend to first uninstall
the old USB drivers,
then install the new ones. Uninstall

You have to run firmware version 1.18 or higher to be able to use the Smart
Card Reader.

Lifeboat
- Help if you have a Problem
Recovers IX66 / IX67 even if
flash memory is completely wiped out. Loads the newset available firmware version using USB.
